Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches, with total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches. * WHERE...Northern Middlesex, Northern New London, Southern Middlesex, and Southern New London Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
