This will affect several riverside roadways as well as several park and recreational facilities. Further downstream flooding is expected in low lying sections along the Connecticut River from Wethersfield and Glastonbury downstream through Cromwell, Middletown and Portland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:30 AM EDT Wednesday was 16.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.3 feet this afternoon.
