...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, including the following areas, the Palmer Divide and adjacent plains through eastern Elbert and Lincoln counties. * WHEN...From late Tuesday night through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A surge of tropical moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Polo and a storm system will bring a threat of flooding into our area late Tuesday night through Thursday morning. Periods of heavy rainfall may lead to totals of 1.5 to 2.5 inches, with locally higher amounts in excess of 3.0 inches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
