...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 5 PM MST TUESDAY... * WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible. * WHERE...Much of the eastern plains including, Briggsdale, Fort Morgan, Byers, Limon, Southern Lincoln County, Sterling, and Akron. * WHEN...From 9 AM to 5 PM MST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Strong winds will likely lead to rapid fire growth of any new fire. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind. Avoid outdoor burning or any activity that may cause sparks. ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 7 PM MST TUESDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MUCH OF THE I-25 CORRIDOR AND NORTHEAST PLAINS... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 242, 243, 244, 248, 250 and 251. * TIMING...From 10 AM to 7 PM MST Tuesday. * WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
