WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Saturday August 08 to 400 PM Sunday August 09 IMPACTS...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Elevated levels of ozone and wildfire smoke are possible through Sunday afternoon. The highest ozone levels are expected in and near the Denver metro area. The heaviest wildfire smoke is expected in northern parts of the Front Range, including Ft. Collins, Greeley, and surrounding areas. For Colorado air quality conditions, forecasts, and advisories, visit: https://www.colorado.gov/airquality/colorado_summary.aspx If possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until at least 4 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2026. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
