and Battlement Mesas, and West Elk and Sawatch Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening
commutes.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road

COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER.

...AVALANCHE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM FRIDAY TO 5 PM SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow will result in HIGH (4 of 5) avalanche danger

* WHERE...The Ruby and Ragged Ranges of the Elk Mountains

* WHEN...Expect dangerous avalanche conditions to begin late Friday
evening and last through Sunday

* IMPACTS...Large and dangerous avalanches will be easy to trigger.
Large avalanches will run naturally.

PRECAUTION/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel in backcountry avalanche terrain is not recommended from
Friday evening through Sunday. Avoid travel on and under slopes with
a slope angle steeper than about 30 degrees. You can find more
