West Central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 230 PM MDT. * At 1136 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.75 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Middle Creek, Squirrel Creek and Upper Saint Charles. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Beulah and San Isabel. This includes the following high risk locations... Beulah Water Intake, Northcreek Road county line to Red Mountain Camp and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah. Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely.
