...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM FRIDAY TO MIDNIGHT MST FRIDAY NIGHT FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS... * THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION FOR THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 215 and 216. * TIMING...From 5 AM Friday to midnight MST Friday night. * WINDS...West 35 to 50 mph with gusts up to 85-105 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for extremely rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation that poses a significant threat to life and property in the event of a wildfire start. Residents are urged to assemble an emergency supply kit and know their evacuation routes. In some cases, safe and timely evacuation may not be possible should a fire approach.
