The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has
issued the following...

WHAT...Air Quality Health Advisory for Wildfire Smoke.

WHERE...Mesa, Garfield, Rio Blanco, Moffat, Routt, Eagle, Jackson,
Grand, and western Larimer Counties. Locations include, but are
not limited to Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, Meeker, Rangely,
Craig, Steamboat Springs, Eagle, Vail, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur
Springs, Kremmling and Rocky Mountain National Park.

WHEN...500 PM Saturday June 27 to 900 AM Sunday June 28

IMPACTS...Moderate to heavy smoke will possible within the
advisory through at least Sunday morning due to wildfires in Utah
and western Colorado.

HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: If smoke is
thick or becomes thick in your neighborhood you may want to remain
indoors. This is especially true for those with heart disease,
respiratory illnesses, the very young, and older adults. Consider
limiting outdoor activity when moderate to heavy smoke is present.
Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and is
making you ill. If visibility is less than 5 miles in smoke in
your neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.

fuels, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday
evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 203 Lower
Colorado River below 8000 feet.

* TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until midnight MDT
tonight. For the second Red Flag Warning, from noon to 10 PM
MDT Sunday. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Monday afternoon
through Monday evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...9 to 14 percent.

* IMPACTS...Elevated fire danger is expected. Fires will catch
and spread rapidly and erratically.
