* WHAT...Temperatures up to 100 expected.

* WHERE...Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver, and the western suburbs of
Denver.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 7 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has
issued the following...

WHAT...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants.

WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western
Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties

WHEN...400 PM Wednesday August 06 to 400 PM Thursday August 07

IMPACTS...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for
the Front Range Urban Corridor.  Hot weather and incoming wildfire
smoke will allow particulate matter and ozone to reach the
Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category on Wednesday and Thursday.

If possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting
driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until at least 4 p.m.
