Hot and stagnant weather conditions will result in ozone concentrations reaching the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category on both Tuesday and Wednesday during the afternoon and evening hours. At 410 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Pierce, or 18 miles north of Greeley, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... ...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR THE AREAS ALONG HIGHWAY 14 WITHIN THE CAMERON PEAK BURN SCAR IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Debris flows and flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central Colorado, including the Cameron Peak burn scar in western Larimer County. * WHEN...Until 445 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kinikinik and Rustic. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Heavy Rainfall will cause minor flooding of creeks and streams, roads and roadside culverts in the affected part of the Cameron Peak burn area.
