...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, including the following areas, Elbert, Northern Weld, Morgan, Logan, Washington, eastern Adams and Arapahoe, and Lincoln Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Strong thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will be possible in the Watch area this afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates may reach 1 to 2 inches in 30 minutes, with storm totals up to 4 inches possible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown if you encounter flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. &&
