...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, southeastern San Luis Obispo, eastern Santa Barbara and western Ventura. * WHEN...Until 600 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Rainfall rates across the advisory area are expected to be between 0.33 to 0.66 inches per hour. Minor mud and debris flow are possible on canyon roads and recent burn scars. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms which could produce locally higher rates. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Camarillo, Fillmore, Ojai, Montecito, Moorpark, Santa Paula, Port Hueneme, Carpinteria, Cuyama, Summerland, Lockwood Valley, Rincon Point, Rose Valley, La Conchita, Ventura Harbor and Newbury Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
