For the Gale Watch, south winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and very rough waters possible. * WHERE...San Pablo Bay, Suisun Bay, the West Delta and the San Francisco Bay north of the Bay Bridge. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 3 PM to 9 PM PST Tuesday. For the Gale Watch, from Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. ...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM TUESDAY TO 4 PM PST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Southerly winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. * WHERE...The Bay Area, North Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains, and San Francisco Peninsula Coast. * WHEN...From 10 PM Tuesday to 4 PM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated gusts to 55 mph possible along North Bay coastal areas and ridgetops Wednesday morning as the cold front passes through. Wind gusts may exceed 60 mph in the regions higher peaks. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
