...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Eastern Los Angeles County in southwestern California... including the Summit and Bridge burn scars... * WHEN...Until 745 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos and dry washes. Minor debris flows may occur in the recent burn scars. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Rainfall rates will generally range around 0.25 to 0.33 inch per hour. Isolated rates may reach 0.50 inch per hour for brief periods. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
