Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Minor debris flows in recent burn scars. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 819 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding, rock slides, mudslides, and minor debris flows. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 744 PM PST, Moderate to locally heavy showers will continue over the Advisory area through 10 PM this evening. This activity will be capable of producing minor flooding, along with rock slides and mudslides. Minor debris flows on area burn scars will be possible, including the Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
