...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
areas: Apple and Lucerne Valleys, Coachella Valley, Orange County
Coastal Areas, Orange County Inland Areas, Riverside County
Mountains, San Bernardino County Mountains, San Bernardino and
Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San Diego County
Coastal Areas, San Diego County Deserts, San Diego County
Mountains, San Diego County Valleys, San Gorgonio Pass near
Banning and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations,
including low-water crossings. Flooding may occur in poor drainage
and urban areas. There is an increased risk for debris flows near
fire burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An early winter storm system will bring areas of heavy
rainfall, including the chance for thunderstorms. Any areas
that see thunderstorms and/or prolonged rainfall will see an
increased flood risk.

...SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS
THROUGH LATE SATURDAY...

A slight chance of thunderstorms exists across the coastal waters
through at least late Saturday night as a moist and unstable
upper level low pressure system will meander over the region. Any
thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing locally gale
force winds and rough seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall
with reduced visibility, and waterspouts. Refer to the CWFLOX for
the most updated thunderstorm timing.
