For the Gale Warning, southwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 8 to 10 ft expected. * WHERE...Monterey Bay. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 9 AM PST this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 9 AM this morning to 3 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions. &&

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST TUESDAY... * WHAT...Up to 1.5 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Monterey Bay. * WHEN...Until 3 PM PST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the Monterey tidal gauge, high tide is expected to be 1.2 ft above normal (6.6 ft MLLW) at 9:46 AM Tuesday These prediction include up to 1.0 ft of storm surge that will enhance the astronomical tide and flooding threat. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. &&
