* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.

* WHERE...West Central Humboldt County in northwestern California...

* Until 1100 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 754 AM PST, Local officials reported small stream flooding in
the advisory area on Highway 36 near Carlotta and in the Ferndale
area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Highway 36
near Carlotta, the Eel River Delta, and other low lying
locations.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 644 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Jacoby
Creek, Hookton Slough, Elk River, and Little River.

* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
possible.

* WHERE...Del Norte and Northern Humboldt Coast.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Wind gusts will be
particularly strong along windward ridges and exposed coastal
headlands. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other
debris on roadways.

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to
the onset of winds.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Del Norte County, Humboldt County, Trinity County,
Mendocino County, and Lake County.

* WHEN...Through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are
running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rounds of heavy rain expected through Friday night. An
additional 3-6, locally up to 9 inches of total rain is possible
through Friday. There will be breaks in the heavy precipitation,
but heavy rain falling on already saturated ground will promote
flooding impacts.
