...A SHOWER WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MARIN COUNTY UNTIL 3 PM PST...

At 230 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a shower 11 miles west of
Stinson Beach, or 19 miles southwest of San Rafael, moving northeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Waterspouts possible and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
San Rafael, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, Larkspur, Corte Madera,
Fairfax, San Geronimo, Stinson Beach, Lucas Valley-Marinwood,
Kentfield, Tamalpais-Homestead Valley, Ross, Woodacre,
Lagunitas-Forest Knolls and Bolinas.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Napa County in northern California...
East Central Sonoma County in northern California...

* Until 530 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 227 PM PST, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the
advisory area. Minor flooding is already occurring. Up to 1 inch
of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Cotati, St. Helena, Calistoga,
Larkfield-Wikiup, Roseland, South Santa Rosa Cdp, Forestville,

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible from multiple lines of showers and thunderstorms, strong
at times, moving across the area.

* WHERE...The Northern San Francisco Bay Area (Napa, Sonoma, and
Marin counties).

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Soils are saturated from the last few days of rain. Showers and
thunderstorm with high rain rates may lead to flash flooding and
the potential for landslides.
