Issued: 7:53 PM Sep. 26, 2025 – National Weather Service
...THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER THE SOUTHERN COASTAL WATERS
SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

An upper level low pressure system over southeastern California
is forecast to help generate some showers and thunderstorms over
the mountains and deserts on Saturday. Any thunderstorms that
develop over these areas would track southeast and off the Los
Angeles and Ventura County coasts, affecting the inner coastal
waters south of Point Conception including the San Pedro Channel
out to Santa Catalina Island, as well as the outer waters south of
Santa Cruz Island.

Any thunderstorms that move into the coastal waters Saturday into
Saturday evening will be capable of producing locally gusty winds
and rough seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced
visibility and small hail.

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH
