...DENSE FOG TO AFFECT THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH THIS MORNING... Mariners should be prepared for abrupt changes in visibility and visibility under one nautical mile due to dense fog over the coastal waters. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other vessels, including large ships in the shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable. Conditions are anticipated to improve in the late morning hours, but areas of patchy fog may linger later into the early afternoon.
