...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM MONDAY TO MIDNIGHT
PDT WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected during the evening high
tides

* WHERE...Ventura County Beaches.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Monday to midnight PDT Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of sea water is likely, around the time of
high tide, over vulnerable low-lying coastal areas such as
parking lots, beaches, and walkways. Significant damage to
roads or structures is NOT expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal flooding impact concerns will peak
each evening between about 8 PM and 10 PM due to astronomical
high tides of 7.3 to 7.5 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do
NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

...DENSE FOG TO AFFECT MOST OF THE COASTAL WATERS DURING THE NIGHT
AND MORNING HOURS THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

Areas of dense fog will be possible over much of the coastal
waters especially during the night and morning hours tonight
through Sunday.

Mariners should be prepared for abrupt visibility changes down to
one nautical mile or less, and local visibilities of less than
one quarter nautical mile to near zero will be possible at times.
Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other
vessels, including large ships in the shipping lanes. Use radar or
GPS navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if
such equipment is unavailable.
