...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Riverside County in southern California... Northeastern San Diego County in southwestern California... * WHEN...Until 300 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rockslides and Mudslides are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 120 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Southwestern Riverside and Northeastern San Diego Counties. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. &&

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected during the evening high tides. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of low lying parking lots, parks, and roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides of 7.2 to 7.5 will peak each evening between 7:30PM-10PM due to astronomical high tides. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
