...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts 25 to 30 kt and locally steep seas 8 to 11 ft expected. * WHERE...Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border Extending 10 to 60 nm out including San Clemente Island. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northwest winds in the outer waters strengthen this morning, peaking in the late morning to the early afternoon. Winds weaken gradually this afternoon into this evening. Locally steep 8 to 11 feet seas with an 8-9 second period will occur in the outer waters through tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions. &&
