* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low
visibility will make navigation difficult.

...DENSE FOG ACROSS THE MONTEREY BAY THROUGH 9 AM PST TODAY...

Satellite imagery and surface observations show widespread fog
and dense fog across the Monterey Bay with visibilities as low as
one quarter nautical mile or less. Fog and dense fog will continue
through 9 AM PST today. Mariners should expect visibilities from
one half to one quarter nautical mile and possibly near zero at
times. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and
other sea vessels. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and
consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable.
