...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The San Fernando Valley and adjacent foothills in western
Los Angeles County.

* WHEN...Until 245 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 134 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Van Nuys, Encino, Northridge, Universal City, Burbank,
Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Griffith Park, Sherman Oaks,
Pacoima, Studio City, Interstate 405 through the Sepulveda
Pass, Toluca Lake, Bel Air, Granada Hills, Sylmar and
Brentwood.
