county, San Bernardino, east of Barstow.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 456 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Newberry Springs and Ludlow.

MST/ THIS EVENING FOR SOUTHWESTERN MOHAVE AND SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTIES...

At 449 PM PDT /449 PM MST/, Local law enforcement reported
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...California Highway Patrol reports flash flooding on
State Route 62 and Parker Dam Road near Parker.

IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings,
creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Parker Dam, Vidal Junction, Big River, Earp, Black Meadow Landing
Campground, Three Dunes Campground and Cattail Cove State Park.

This includes the following highways...
State Route 95 in Mohave County between mile markers 162 and 173.
Highway 95 in San Bernardino County between mile markers 1 and 28.
State Route 62 in San Bernardino County between mile markers 91 and

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 341 PM MST /341 PM PDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch
of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
