Central Napa County in northern California... Southeastern Sonoma County in northern California... * Until 715 AM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 413 AM PST, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the advisory area. Minor flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Napa, Petaluma, San Rafael, Novato, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, Larkspur, Sonoma, Corte Madera, Fairfax, Boyes Hot Springs, Black Point-Green Point, Lucas Valley-Marinwood, Kentfield, San Geronimo, Tamalpais-Homestead Valley, Stinson Beach, Muir Beach, Yountville and Ross. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Up to 2.5 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways during the morning high tide Saturday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to 2.0 ft inundation is possible. * WHERE...Adjacent to the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 2 PM PST Saturday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 2 PM Saturday to 2 PM PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads will be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated.
