...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 201 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following county, San Diego. * WHEN...Until 201 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 102 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM PDT THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following areas, Riverside County Mountains, San Bernardino County Mountains and San Diego County Mountains. * WHEN...From 11 AM PDT this morning through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Debris flows in and below burn scars are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing moderate to heavy rain expected in the mountains during the late-morning to evening hours today. Thunderstorms that develop have the potential to produce rain rates of 0.50 to 1 inch per hour, locally higher.
