Marine Weather Statement
Issued: 3:53 PM Dec. 25, 2025 – National Weather Service
...HAZARDOUS MARINE CONDITIONS ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS OF
SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING DUE TO GUSTY WINDS
WITH ASSOCIATED STEEP SEAS AND THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS AND
ISOLATED WATERSPOUTS...

Hazardous marine conditions can be expected over the coastal
waters through Friday morning. Gusty south winds will persist
into Friday morning. The strong winds will bring steep, choppy
seas to the area.

A moist and unstable air mass will bring the potential for
thunderstorms to the coastal waters. Any thunderstorm that forms
will be capable of producing locally gale force winds and rough
seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility,
and waterspouts.

Monitor NOAA Weather Radio for the latest information, forecasts,
and warnings.
