...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
areas, Orange County Coastal Areas, Orange County Inland Areas,
San Bernardino County Mountains, San Bernardino and Riverside
County Valleys-The Inland Empire and Santa Ana Mountains and
Foothills.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Minor flooding and debris flows possible
in and below recent burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A warm low pressure system from the southwest will bring
periods of moderate to locally heavy precipitation Wednesday
night through Thursday evening. Most of the heavy showers are
likely to occur Thursday morning. High soil moisture from
last week's heavy rainfall and will exacerbate the flooding
threat in the watch area.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

Be alert in the mountains for rockslides and rocks in the road.
