WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...A strong Atmospheric River weather system will bring
persistent moderate to heavy rainfall

* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following
areas, Mendocino Coast, Northwestern Mendocino Interior, Southern
Humboldt Interior and Southwestern Humboldt.

* WHEN...From 3 AM PST Tuesday through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides
along roadways. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A strong Atmospheric River weather system will bring
persistent moderate to heavy rainfall

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TUESDAY TO 2 PM PST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected.

* WHERE...Humboldt Interior, Del Norte Interior, and Southwestern
Humboldt. The highest winds will be over the higher terrain.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Tuesday to 2 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

High winds can topple trees which can be deadly. Avoid being under
trees during the highest winds. Postpone travel until lighter winds.
