Issued: 3:52 AM Nov. 5, 2025 – National Weather Service
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM THURSDAY TO
2 PM PST FRIDAY...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THURSDAY TO
2 PM PST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding
expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of
5 to 8 feet with dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 4 AM Thursday to 2
PM PST Friday. For the High Surf Advisory, from 7 AM Thursday

* IMPACTS...For the High Surf Advisory, there is an increased

wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats
near shore. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, flooding of sea
water is likely, around the time of high tide, over vulnerable
low- lying coastal areas such as parking lots, beaches, and
walkways. Significant damage to roads or structures is
unlikely.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide around 7 feet (MLLW) is
expected to occur between 7am and 11am.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do
NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay
near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in
such conditions, stay off the rocks.
