...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM PST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following areas, Calabasas and Agoura Hills, Eastern San Fernando Valley, Eastern San Gabriel Mountains, Eastern Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area, Los Angeles County Beaches, Los Angeles County Inland Coast including Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles County San Gabriel Valley, Malibu Coast, Palos Verdes Hills, Santa Clarita Valley, Western San Fernando Valley, Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor and Western Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area. * WHEN...Until 7 AM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rain rates between 0.50 and 0.75 inches per hour are possible overnight tonight with a 10 to 20 percent chance of 1 inch per hour. ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following county, Los Angeles. * WHEN...Until 300 AM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1018 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rainfall falling across portions of southern Los Angeles County. Rainfall rates between 0.25 and 0.40 inch per hour have been observed in some location. Urban and small stream flooding is likely. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Minor debris flows from the Palisades burn scar are possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount Wilson, Pasadena, Burbank, Van Nuys, Glendora, Santa Clarita, Northridge, San Dimas, Pomona, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Altadena, Glendale, and the Eaton and Bridge burn scars. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
