* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern California, including the following
county, eastern Siskiyou, near and southeast of Tennant.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 828 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Eastern Siskiyou County, near and
southeast of Tennant.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

- At 740 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over portions of the area.

Pilgrim Creek Snow Park and Fowlers Camp Campground And
McCloud Falls.

* AFFECTED AREA...The southern and eastern portions of Fire
Weather Zones 280 and 624, and southern half of zone 625. In
addition, all of zones 281, 282, 284, and 285.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered to widespread thunderstorm activity
with abundant lightning. Thunderstorms will mostly be
accompanied by rain. But, the amount of lightning is expected
to exceed critical thresholds.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusts around 40 to 60 mph are possible from
thunderstorms.
