Additional snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches above 6000 feet, and locally up 12-18 inches to over higher peaks. 1 to 3 inches of snow down to around 5500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park above 6000 feet. * WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Mountain travel could be very difficult this evening into Wednesday morning. Plan for travel delays and chain controls. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow expected this evening into Wednesday morning. Snow levels 6000 to 7000 feet today, falling to around 5500 feet Wednesday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
