At 648 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from Bel Air to near Rancho Palos Verdes. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. While not likely, there is a remote possibility for a brief, weak tornado to develop. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, Much of Central Los Angeles and Extreme Eastern Ventura. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rock and mud slides possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 538 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to briefly heavy showers overspreading the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area, continuing through the mid-morning hours. Rock and mud slides will be possible. - A minor debris flow over the burn scars cannot be ruled out. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
