* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following
areas, Mendocino Coast, Northeastern Mendocino Interior, Northern
Humboldt Coast, Northern Humboldt Interior, Northern Lake,
Northwestern Mendocino Interior, Southeastern Mendocino Interior,
Southern Humboldt Interior, Southern Lake, Southern Trinity,
Southwestern Humboldt and Southwestern Mendocino Interior.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides
along roadways. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may
become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread moderate to heavy rain from two consecutive strong
weather systems will produce 2-4 inches of rainfall Friday
afternoon through late Sunday.

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 75 mph possible.

* WHERE...Southwestern Humboldt.

* WHEN...From Friday morning through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Wind gusts will be
particularly strong along windward ridges and exposed coastal
headlands.

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, High astronomical tides
will cause minor flooding in low lying areas. Up to one half
foot of saltwater inundation above ground level is possible near
shorelines and tidal waterways. Between 8.1 feet MLLW at Arena
Cove tide gauge and 8.9 feet MLLW at Crescent City harbor tide
gauge. For the Coastal Flood Watch, High astronomical tides and
large surf may cause major flooding in low lying areas along the
Del Norte Coast, Mendocino Coast and southwest Humboldt Coast.
Up to 1.5 foot of saltwater inundation above ground level is
possible in low lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Coastal Del Norte, Southwestern Humboldt and Mendocino
Coast Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 7 AM to 11 AM PST
this morning. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Friday morning

* IMPACTS...Several coastal roads may be closed. Low lying
property and some critical infrastructure will be inundated.
Some shoreline erosion may occur.
