Canyon rock and mud slides possible. * WHERE...Southeastern Santa Barbara County in southwestern California... * WHEN...Until 100 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Canyon rock and mud slides possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1134 AM PDT, Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Canyon rock and mud slides possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON... A moderate storm system will impact our coastal waters today through Thursday, bringing a chance of thunderstorms to the area. Thunderstorm activity is likely to be most hazardous for the waters south and east of Point Conception with peak timing expected this afternoon through Thursday morning. Any thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing local gusts up to gale force, rough seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and waterspouts.
