...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM PDT SATURDAY... ...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM PDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures in the upper 90s to 105 with very warm nights with low temperatures in the lower to mid 70s expected. For the Wind Advisory, east winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. * WHERE...San Diego County Valleys. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, from 10 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT Thursday. For the Wind Advisory, from 6 AM to 6 PM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. &&
