Areas of dense fog will continue to reduce visibility to 1 nautical mile or less through 9 AM PST today. Fog will begin to lift after 9 AM, improving visibility. Mariners should be prepared for abrupt changes in visibility, particularly through harbor entrances. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other vessels, including large ships in shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable.
