Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will be strongest with the passage of the cold front. ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM MONDAY TO 4 AM PST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet, with sets to 13 feet. Minor coastal flooding will also be a threat. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...From 10 AM Monday to 4 AM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. High rip current risk. Minor tidal overflow into parking lots and boardwalks also possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Surf will peak Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as groins, jetties and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol, flags and signs. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. &&
