...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
county, Los Angeles.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water
in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Minor debris
flows in recent burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 958 PM PST, These moderate to locally heavy showers will
continue over the Advisory area through at least midnight.
This activity will be capable of producing minor flooding,
along with rock slides and mudslides. Minor debris flows on
area burn scars will be possible.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Long Beach, Lake Los Angeles, Acton, Wrightwood, Mount
Wilson, Pasadena, Alhambra, Palmdale, Glendora, Burbank,
Griffith Park, West Covina, San Dimas, Downtown Los Angeles,
Universal City, North Hollywood, Whittier, Hollywood,
Lancaster, Pomona, the Eaton and Bridge Burn Scars.

- At 956 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area.

Simi Valley, Fillmore, Santa Clarita, Chatsworth, Northridge,
North Hollywood, Rose Valley, Lockwood Valley, Lake Hughes,
Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, Sylmar, Pacoima, Pyramid Lake,
Alamo Mountain, Topatopa Peak, Interstate 5 over the
Grapevine, Lake Piru, Piru and Gorman.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding, rock slides, mudslides, and minor debris
flows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 949 PM PST, moderate to locally heavy showers continued
across the region.These moderate to locally heavy showers
will continue over the Advisory area through at least
midnight. This activity will be capable of producing minor
flooding, along with rock slides and mudslides. Minor debris
flows on area burn scars will be possible, including the
Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ventura, Santa Barbara,
Camarillo, Fillmore, Malibu, Ojai, Montecito, Agoura Hills,
Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Santa Ynez, Encino,
Van Nuys and Santa Monica.
And...the Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars.
