...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...High temperatures of 101 to 107 and low temperatures of 65 to 80 expected, with Moderate to Major HeatRisk. * WHERE...The Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys, Foothills, Coast Range, and Sierra north of Highway 50. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...ot temperatures may cause heat illnesses, especially anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hot temperatures continue today, with areas of Major HeatRisk. Hottest temperatures and warmest overnight lows expected in the northern Sacramento Valley and Sierra foothills thermal belts. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
