At 702 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles southeast
of Chiriaco Summit, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north
central Imperial and Riverside Counties.

* At 522 PM MST /522 PM PDT/, local law enforcement reported
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
