...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TO 9 PM PDT TUESDAY FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 280, 281, 284, 285, 617, 621, 623, 624, AND 625... The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 1 PM to 9 PM PDT Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch has been upgraded. * AFFECTED AREA...In California, Fire weather zones 280, 281, 284 and 285. In Oregon, Fire weather zones 617, 621, 623, 624 and 625. * THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered thunderstorms with abundant lightning possible.
