* At 430 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding, debris flows, and
landslides.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Significant debris flows and landslides.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Eastern Los Angeles County including
Southwestern portions of the Bridge Burn Scar.

is expected.

* WHERE...Northern portions of the Bridge Burn Scar in northeast Los
Angeles County

* WHEN...Until 600 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos
including minor mud or debris flows. Dangerous flows over
low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 403 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding or debris flows is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional thunderstorms with worsening impacts are possible
through early this evening.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wrightwood, Angeles Crest Highway between Mount Waterman and
Wrightwood and Big Pines.
