At 148 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Claypool, or
near Globe, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Globe, Miami, Top Of The World, Central Heights-Midland City,
Top-Of-The-World, Claypool, and Inspiration.

This includes the following highways...
US Highway 60 between mile markers 234 and 261.
AZ Route 70 near mile marker 253.
AZ Route 188 between mile markers 214 and 226.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the
following areas, Buckeye/Avondale, Cave Creek/New River, Central
Phoenix, Deer Valley, East Valley, North Phoenix/Glendale,
Northwest Valley, Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, South
Mountain/Ahwatukee and Southeast Valley/Queen Creek.

* WHEN...From Friday morning through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Increasing moisture ahead of an area of low pressure will
promote scattered thunderstorm activity capable of producing
heavy rainfall by late morning into the evening hours Friday.
Localized rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are expected to
occur, with potentially higher amount possible.
