...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON FOR NAVAJO COUNTY... At 150 PM MST, local law enforcement reported flooding on Lone Pine Dam Road north of Lindon. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Show Low, Taylor, Schoens Lake, Linden, Ned Lake, Fool Hollow Lake, Telephone Lake, Pintail Lake, Pinedale, Clay Springs, White Mountain Lakes Estates, White Mountain Lake Estates and White Mountain Lake Airport. This includes the following highways... State Route 260 between mile markers 322 and 336. State Route 77 between mile markers 343 and 351. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area Campground. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Dodson Wash, Pinedale Wash, Linden Draw, Show Low Creek, Hog Wash, Cottonwood Wash, Rocky Arroyo, Stinson Wash and Silver Creek. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become flooded as well.
